Advice :
The Chinggis statue is right on the edge of the national park so make sure to tell your driver in advance that you want to go there if you haven’t already discussed it.
Book accommodation in advance to avoid dissapointment. Bear in mind that accommodation in Terelj tends to be quite expensive and fills up quickly. Nomads in the area will take you in but will also charge for their services.
Take good hiking boots so that you can take a hike up into the mountains.
The weather here can be somewhat unpredictable so take a range of clothing to make sure you are well covered.
