Travel from Ulaanbaatar:
Driving from Ulaanbaatar takes 8 -10 hours on good roads.
Advice:
Take excellent boots and warm, waterproof clothes.
Be careful on the upward climb as the volcano is very steep.
There is only 1 ger camp nearby so book in advance.
